Qingyan Zhu, MD
Board Certified Neurologist
Dr. Zhu received her medical degree in 1982 as a top 10% student in Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. She completed her internship in internal medicine at The George Washington University in Washington DC in 1998, and her residency in neurology at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 2001. She became a certified neurologist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2002. She has acupuncture and traditional Chinese Medicine training in both China and the USA. She moved to North Suffolk in 2001 with her family. Dr. Zhu is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Medical Society of Virginia, and the Portsmouth Academy of Medicine. She also has extensive research background in biomedical areas with more than twenty publications in internationally recognized academic journals.
